Fraud charge sworn against former Capital Families bookkeeper
A 53-year-old Victoria woman accused of siphoning $200,000 from Capital Families Association made her first court appearance last Thursday.
The former bookkeeper is accused of embezzling money from the West Shore non-profit group from January 2008 to January 2010.

Little League treasurer accused of embezzling over $130,000 from accounts
The former Stony Point Little League treasurer Wednesday was arrested and charged with stealing over $130,000 from league accounts from 2004 until late 2008, Stony Point Town Police said.
